Welcome to the SAD #4 Curriculum Page

Our K-12 curriculum is aligned with the state of Maine Learning Results (2007 Parameters of Essential Instruction) and provides a guide to the knowledge and skills students should master at each grade level.  A brief synopsis of each content area is provided on this page.  

Expect to find the following:

Essential Understandings have been established for units within each content area. These help students to see the "big ideas" of learning within the various instructional units.

The Knowledge and Skills section provides specific information about learning expectations.
