Past Author Visits

On May 12, 2008 famous poet Robert Pottle spent the day at Guilford Primary School. He presented his poetry in whole group settings and then visited each classroom. During the classroom visits Mr. Pottle shared his techniques while constructing publishable pieces with our children. He also signed any preordered books. Check this to see his website.

On May 21, 2008 famous author and illustrator Cathryn Falwell spent the day at the McKusick School. Her day will was spent presenting to grade levels and sharing her work with puppets, paint, and fun. Children will had the opportunity to purchase books if they liked.
