79TH ANNUAL GHS/PCHS ALUMNI BUSINESS MEETING
Meeting called to order at 6:15 pm
Raffle winners were as follows:
Drake's gift certificate to Beverly Edgerly
2 lg pizzas from Guilford House of Pizza to Bob Kallgren
Subway certificates to Warren Ruland
Wheston/Traftons certificate to Galen Costigan
Traftons sweatshirt to Lucy Chambers
Thank you to SAD #4, PCHS and Perley's Catering
Paul Stearns spoke briefly about computers, the school, and inviting donations for scholarships.
A thank you went out to all the Alumni Committee Members.
The class of 1946 spoke
The class of 1956 spoke and $3,000.00 was donated to the scholarship fund
Teh class of 1961 had no representatives
The class of 1966 spoke and had a full weekend of events planned
The class of 1976 spoke
The class of 1981 spoke
Phil Bullard presented a change to be made to the by-laws to include a committee run association versus a President, Vice-president run association. This would mean no elections and there would be a Chair and Vice-Chair of the committee with secretary and treasurer still filled positions.
Motion was passed and seconded for the change.
Key chains were handed out tot he 50 year class.
Arthur Ames, Class of 1930 was the oldest Alumni.
Lisa Patterson Knights, Class of 1981, was the youngest Alumni.
2 flowers were handed out for coming the furthest, 1 alumnus from Mexico and 1 from California.
The largest family in attendance was the Edgerly family with 6, followed by theTrafton and Bridges families with 5 each.
An afghan went to Fred Blake
A table from Davis Brothers went to Randy Edgerly
A gift certificate to the Moosehead Outlet went to Austin Deane
50 gallons of oil from McKusick Oil went to Chet Rindel (from California)
The center piece of flowers from Hudson Avenue Florist went to Dale Huff
