Parkman Preschool is accepting registration for the 2005-06 year. Space in the program is limited to 20
children. Applications can be obtained
from Louise Ringle, Center Coordinator by visiting
the preschool or calling 876-4450 or by letting your child’s teacher know that
you would like an application.
Do you love children? Are you looking for a part time position that
will put a smile on your face?? SAD #4 is looking for bus drivers. All of the buses are automatic and easy to
drive. This is a great way to earn a little extra
income and still have the same work and vacation schedule as your child. Training is available. Please contact Mr. Cotta at 876-4035 for more
information.

Sleds (NO snowboards please) marked with your child’s name in
permanent marker may be brought to school by parents. Please remember to pick your child’s sled up
at the end of the day.
Please remember that you must park in the parking
lot in the morning and in the afternoon.
The buses need the space to safely transport the students. At McKusick, please
do not pick your child up before
Target Gives to Education is a program for people
that have Target credit cards. Each time

Programs
Nutrition Education Programs are FREE
and offered throughout
Workshops, programs and community
interventions are available to Maine-based groups on a variety of topics.
Educational materials, catalog listings of federally supported materials
(including information on school-age nutrition, dietary recommendations and
food labeling) as well as an extensive audio visual library are also available.
EFNEP/Eat Well: Nutrition lessons offered in the home or school site for individuals and groups of adults and children.
Learn-By-Mail: "Ten steps to good
nutrition", lessons are mailed to your home. Continuing education credits
are awarded for this program.
Summer Fun Shops: Games, Fun, Crafts
and Food for your child at these one-day nutrition events held across the
county.
Born-To-Read: Free books, for families
with children under 5 years, and information to help you and your baby explore
the world of books.
