Parent Teacher Conferences

The elementary staff would like to thank parents for making time to conference with teachers about their child’s progress.  Your support is essential and does make a difference in your child’s education.

Holiday Concert

The elementary holiday concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5th at 6:30 pm in the PCHS gym.  Please mark your calendar.

Visitor Badges

If you are picking up your child early please stop by the office to notify them, also remember to sign them out. All visitors will be required to wear a visitor identification badge if going further into the school.

Please Dress Warmly

Cold weather is here!  Please make sure to send your child with warm coats, hats, mittens, and boots.  Remember that students are expected to wear boots outside during the winter months and must have different footwear for inside the school.

HUGS Meeting

The next HUGS meeting is on Monday, Dec 11th at 6:00 at the Guilford Primary School.  Hope to see you there!

Giving Tree

This year there will be no gift exchange among students.  Instead, we are asking any child who wishes to bring in a non-perishable food item to place it under the tree in our front halls.  Our local Food Cupboard will distribute the food items to families in our area who are in need.  The following list includes some suggestions:  canned vegetables (especially carrots, green beans, and corn), canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, pasta variations, tuna fish, canned milk, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly, Dinty Moore beef stew, canned soups, ravioli, canned beans, and Jell-O.

Fund Raising

The Box Tops for Education collection box is in the lobby.  Please send in all specially marked General Mills box tops with your children.  A list of qualifying products has been sent home and can also be found at www.boxtops4education.com.

The Hannaford Helps Schools program has begun.  McKusick and Guilford Primary Schools are working together on this project, so please send any certificates you earn to either school.  This program ends Dec. 3rd.

The bottle for collecting the tabs off soda cans has arrived.  Please send your tabs to school to benefit the children at the Shriner’s Hospital.  Thank you for all of your support!
