Our Winter Plans

The students at the Guilford Primary and the McKusick School were asked about their plans for the winter vacation. We would like to share some of their responses:

In Mrs. Cookson's and Mrs. Duncan's Kindergarten, one student plans to go to his grammie's and play in the snow with his trucks. J. S. plans to open presents and play with her new toys; Will also plans to open his presents and play with them; and J.W. also plans to open presents and play with her new toys.

In Mrs. Quimby's and Miss Connolly's Kindergarten, M. N. plans to sleep, sleep and sleep; T.T. plans to go to Renys and get a Clapper; C. F. plans to give her parents a picture she painted of her whole family; and C. N. plans to go snowboarding and snow sliding.

In Mrs. Kelly's and Miss Smith's Kindergarten, M. P. plans to go sliding with her mommy, daddy and Zachy; Z. F. plans to make a snow dinosaur with his whole family; K. L. plans to tell Santa "Thank You" for his toys; and S-J B. plans to go to her grammy's house.

In Mrs. Herrick's and Mrs. Lindberg's first grade class, T. B. plans to go sledding with his brother; W. A. plans to go to a pond and go ice fishing; M. S. plans to go snowmobiling and snowboarding with his family; and E. R. says that she and her sister are going to Virginia the day after Christmas.

In Miss Speed's first grade classroom, K. D. plans to go snowmobiling; K. C. plans to have company over for a Christmas party; T. W. plans to open presents; and D. S. plans to go to families houses.

In Mrs. Patten's first grade classroom, J. C. plans to play computer, play Sony, and watch T.V.; J. C. plans to make a snowman and go sledding as long as the snow is sticky; S. F. plans to make a snowman and go ice fishing; and E. G. hopes to plan to go to Spencer's or Terry's sometime.

I will play in the snow. I will play with my dog. I will watch TV. I will read books. K. D. Grade 2

Mom, Dad, and my sisters will make a snow fort. We will have a long snowball fight. Then we will go inside and have some hot cocoa. L. K. Grade 2

I will make snow forts, snow angels, snowmen. I will have a snowball fight. S. B. Grade 2

I am going to Florida and I am going swimming on Christmas. Z. C. Grade 2

I will get to wake up at my Dad's house Christmas morning and open presents. I also get to go snowboarding. J. B. Grade 2

Stay home and watch TV. B. S. Grade 2

I get to make cookies and go sledding with Aunt Karen. J. G. Grade 2

I get to go to a Christmas party. I also get to open presents at my Nanny's and Grammy's houses. S. R. Grade 2

I will play in the snow. I will play with my dog. I will play with my cat. I will help my mom. I will play with my toy. A. M. Grade 2

I might go ice-fishing and I might ice-skate. E. N. Grade 2

I am going to Rhode Island. Spend time with my mom. A. J. Grade 2

I am going to go sledding and drink hot cocoa. I am going to help my mom and make Christmas cookies. K. F. Grade 2

I will snowboard, have a snowball fight, open presents, and maybe have a friend over at my house. Z. W. Grade 3

I will play outside and I will snowboard. Then I will do some work. M. S. Grade 3

I want to invite my best friend over and go out to play. I want to play with my dolls. C. D. Grade 3

What I would like to do over winter vacation is to practice the songs Desert Drums, A Windy Day, and The Circus Comes to Town on my keyboard. C. S. Grade 3

I will snow board, have hot cocoa, and play with my friends. The MOST important to me is spending time with my family. I will have fun! B. C. Grade 3

Over winter vacation, I am having A.J. over. If there is enough snow, A.J.'s Dad will let him bring over his snowmobile. After we ride the snowmobile, we will have a snowball war. Then we will go inside and play on the computer. E. M. Grade 3

I will play with my friends and my toys at the same time. I will share my toys with my friends. B. B. Grade 3

I will make Christmas presents and go sliding. My puppy, Daisy, will like playing with me. My aunt will come up from Boston to visit us. I'll play with my neighbor. I will open presents on Christmas. That's what I will do over Christmas vacation. K. B. Grade 3

I am going to visit my grammy in the nursing home, and I am going to go spend the night at a friend's house. M. W. Grade 3

I'm going to make Christmas cookies with my mom, invite my friend Abby over, watch Christmas movies, help wrap presents that aren't mine, draw horses, and write. G. D. Grade 3

My family is coming for Christmas. Christmas is going to be at my house. We are going to have food and gifts. A. B. Grade 3

I'm going to play in the snow, play with my toys I got for Christmas, sit by the fire and drink hot cocoa, and play with Pokeman cards. L. G. Grade 3
