Everyone at Guilford Primary had a nice time at the Valentine's Breakfast. We would like to thank all the dads who helped to make this day special. A big thank you goes to Stephen Northup and Jim Bell for organizing the event. We couldn't have wished for a better valentine gift! Gifts from the heart are the most meaningful.
Remember that Monday, March 3rd the McKusick School is celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast served by the dads. Please call Jim Bell at 876-4025 if you have questions.
Many students and parents arrived at Guilford Primary decked out in pajamas and toting blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags to celebrate Read Across America on Thursday evening. The program sought to connect every child with a book. It was heart-warming to stroll through the halls observing parents and children enjoying a good book together. A special thank you goes to our guest storyteller, Dyan McCarthy-Clark. Dr. Seuss would be pleased to know about all the activities which took place nationwide in honor of his birthday!

The most fun thing I did over vacation was spend the night over at Macy's house. We played with her teacher's board and played dress up. I dressed up as a cool princess with pants and a t-shirt.

My mom and I went to Petco and bought fish, fish food, and fish tank decorations.

I went to the airport, because my sister was going to Florida. We went shopping in the airport. It was fun when I went on the escalator.

Over February vacation, I went to Bangor. I went to five places, two pet stores, Joannes Fabrics, Walmart, and K-mart.

The most fun thing I did over vacation was work on a tunnel in my backyard with my brother. I also had fun playing the N64.

The most fun thing I did over vacation is go over to my little cousin's house. We built all kinds of snow forts in the snow bank. We had a snowmobile ride. I had an awesome time!!!

The most fun thing I did over vacation was go to a party with my family. The party was a family reunion. I had tons of fun because we played games, and had cotton candy, too.

On Friday, I went to visit my Grammy in the nursing home in Belfast. It's on the coast. On Saturday, my brother had a birthday party, and my cousins and my brother's friends came over.

On my vacation, I went bowling with my Mom, Dad, and a friend. That was one of the things I did. I also went to see the movie Kangaroo Jack with my Grandpa, my Mom, and Dad.

My Dad and I went snowmobiling on the trails from Monson to Guilford. It took about one hour and a half to Guilford and back to Monson on Saturday.

Over my winter vacation, I went to the Bangor Auditorium to watch the Pirates play. I felt bad because we lost, but I still had fun.
Tyler Grade 3
Over vacation I went to my grandma's and ate pizza. The next day I went shopping in the mall. The next day we went to my grandma's again and had Chinese.
Kayla Grade 3
Over February vacation, I went to Camp Mechewana. Mrs. Rhodin brought me and Shannon. We got to sleep in a building with bunk beds. The boys slept in a different building on the floor. We had a campfire with songs. The next day my friends and I went sliding and made snow sculptures. I had fun. I might go for a whole week sometime.
Sarah Grade 3
On Thursday, my sister, Mom, our friend Millie, and I went to Dexter to get our hair cut. I got my hair cut first. Everyone else got their hair trimmed, but I got my hair cut really short.
