v    Congratulations to all students for their awards received Monday at our Academic Recognition Assembly. Everyone was proud of their stickers. Remember, to please write a note letting us know if your child participates in any form of community service. We’d love to see every child honored in this area.

v    Social studies classes shared their Native American projects this week. What wonderful creations. They will be on display downstairs. Please be sure to stop by and see them.

v    Just a reminder that our school collects Box Tops for Education. They can be found on various items bought from the grocery store. We send them in once a year and use the money for playground equipment.

v    Looking ahead—If you would be able to send cookies, juice, cups, or napkins for your child’s Valentine’s Exchange Party on February 14, please contact  his/her homeroom teacher to see what is needed. Thanks!

v    Students’ names for the Valentine Card Exchange are included in this week’s packet of papers.

v    Six more weeks of winter….  be sure students are dressed warmly with hats and mittens.
