Grade 4 Newsletter
ü We enjoyed a fun-filled Merit Dollar event today
snowshoeing! Many of the students had never tried this before, but found it to
be a wonderful outside winter activity. What a great family thing to do!
ü This week we have focused on test-taking strategies and
skills as the first two weeks of March we will be taking the Maine Educational
Assessments along with every other fourth grader in the state. Families can
help their children by being sure they get adequate rest and eat a nourishing
breakfast each day.
ü In social studies, students are currently working on laptops
researching Native Americans of Maine.
ü We will continue working on division during the MEAs in math.
ü Remember our field trip to hear Bangor Symphony Orchestra on
March 8.
ü The second trimester ends March 12.
