Grade 4 Newsletter

Next Friday, March 16^th is a teacher workshop day. There will be no school for students.

We have started taking the MEA’s this week. One week down and one to go with make-ups the following week! This testing is very important. Thank you for helping your child to be prepared by having them get plenty of rest, eating a healthy breakfast, and staying away from sick people. Also, a new supply of number 2 pencils would be very helpful.

We would like to announce the HERO’s of the month for February. They are Anthony G., Justin B., and Dakota C. --- Congratulations!

In Social Studies, students are participating in civil right lessons. The PCMS Civil Rights Team is presenting the lessons for the fourth graders.

4^th and 5^th grade Spelling Bee will be March 20^th at 1:30 pm.

Today is the last day of the second trimester. Next week we start the third trimester. Report cards will be mailed home next week. Schedules of specials will be changed as well. Please help your child learn when they have PE, Music, Art and library this last trimester.

Math classes will be starting a unit on area and perimeter soon.
