v Congratulations to all students who received awards at our “Hero” assembly on Thursday. Keep up the good work! We’re currently in our last trimester. We’re looking forward to seeing more students receiving awards in the coming months.
v The students have been busy in literacy support writing thank you letters to Mr. Maines. Recently, Mr. Maines came to school and shared his experiences of his trip to
v News Flash…. all fourth grade students need a cereal box for their spring sculpture art project that will begin next week. It will be used to create a window and window box, so it has to be a regular, full size box, not the mini ones.
v Science classes are investigating sound and light energy.
v Math classes will have an assessment next week on area and perimeter. Their next unit will be on percents.
v Social studies classes will have an assessment next week on the Industrial Revolution. They will be bringing home their notebook as a study guide.
v It’s still chilly at recess. Please be sure your child wears a jacket to school each day.
v We’re looking forward to seeing many of you at the Student-Led conferences next Monday and Tuesday.
