Grade 4 Newsletter

April 8,2005

v     Congratulations to our March “Heroes” who were honored on Wednesday: Courtney M., Brittany P., and Becky G.  Each month we look for students who are honest, make daily effort, respect students, teachers, and others, and help in the community. Let’s continue to work hard, and all become “Heroes”.

v     Math classes are presently learning about percents.

v     In social studies the students learned what it was like to work in an assembly line.  Be sure to ask your child what they learned from this activity. We will have an assessment Tuesday on the Industrial Revolution. Everyone needs to look over his or her notes on Monday night!

v     Art classes are working on Mythical Beast/Being Creatures. The project is due either April 14th or 15th, depending which class your child is in.

v     We enjoyed seeing you at conferences this past week. The students look forward to sharing with you their learning experiences from school. Thank you for coming in.

v     Friday, April 15 is an early release day. The following week is vacation.

v     It’s still chilly at recess. Please be sure your child wears a jacket to school each day.
