Social
Studies classes will be researching their select people and events from Maine
next week. Be sure to ask your child their selections and what they are
learning about our state.
Math
classes are finishing their unit on symmetry next week. Help your children find
examples in real life, ex: butterflies.
Science
classes are revving up for a new unit, “Force and Motion.” Shoe racers are due
on May 29th.
Our
visit to the tree farm was cancelled due to weather. We’re planning a visit May
25th.
On
Monday May 14th the fourth grade will be going to the Bangor
Symphony to enjoy a concert. This is an annual event. The students will be back
in time for dismissal at the end of the day.
May
21st will be our annual trip to Augusta to visit the museum and
State House. More information will follow.
Be
sure your child has a jacket or sweatshirt for recess. The weather is still
quiet cool and unpredictable.
