SOCIAL STUDIES: We’re learning about our rights and responsibilities as citizens.
MATH: Students have completed the last unit of Everyday Math and will be doing special activities and reviewing for the rest of the year.
SCIENCE: Students should be creating their shoe racers that are due May 30th.
Movement Month: PCMS is participating in a “May is Movement Month”. Fourth graders will be participating three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) in a walking program at the high school track. Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for walking for these days. We’ve walked a total of 382.75 miles so far.
Bangor Symphony: Fourth graders enjoyed the symphony and were a wonderful audience.
Message from our Superintendent:
The SAD #4 district budget meeting will be held at Piscataquis Community Middle School on June 13th at 7:00 PM. A school budget for the 2006-2007 school year will be approved at this meeting. The proposed budget meets the needs of the students of SAD #4 while maintaining fiscal responsibility. A copy of the proposed budget will be delivered to your home in the near future. Folks that are interested in quality educational opportunities for children are urged to attend the meeting, and exercise their right to vote. There will be an informational session the same evening at 6:00 PM
