SOCIAL STUDIES: We’re currently discussing International Trade with other countries.

MATH: Students will continue to have math worksheets for homework.

SCIENCE: The entire staff was impressed with the creativity and design of the car racers.

Movement Month: Students did a great job walking during May. Many of them tried to increase their mileage with each walk. We walked a total of 577.25 miles.

Message from our Superintendent:

The SAD #4 district budget meeting will be held at Piscataquis

Community Middle School on June 13th at 7:00 PM.  A school budget for the 2006-2007 school year will be approved at this meeting.  The proposed budget meets the needs of the students of SAD #4 while maintaining  fiscal responsibility.  A copy of the proposed budget will be delivered to your home in the near future.  Folks that are interested in quality educational opportunities for children  are urged to attend the meeting, and exercise their right to vote. There will be an informational session the same evening at 6:00 PM

Guilford Recreation Program: Parents with children interested in participating with the Guilford REC program are asked to turn in permission slips by June 14th to Mr. Gallant at PCMS.  If your child plans on participating with the YMCA swimming program, you will need to pick up the registration form at the Guilford Town Office.  The cost is free for Guilford residents and $15.00 for Non-Residents.  Swimming is Free for Guilford residents and an additional $18.00 for non-residents.  Thank you.

Reminder: All lunch bills must be paid and library and textbooks must be returned or students will not be promoted to the next grade.
