Grade 4 Newsletter

Concert: The students did a wonderful job Wednesday night at the PCMS concert.

 

Field Trip: We’re looking forward to our trip to Sand Beach on Wednesday (rain date is for Thursday). The students need to bring the following items: an extra water bottle, towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. On the way home, we plan to stop at Gifford’s. Students may bring up to $5.00 for ice cream. We plan on arriving home at 5:30, be sure your child has a ride at that time.

 

Hero Assembly: Our final assembly will be Thursday morning at 8:15. All are welcome to attend.

 

Reminder from our Superintendent:

 

The SAD #4 district budget meeting will be held at Piscataquis Community Middle School on June 13th at 7:00 PM.  A school budget for the 2006-2007 school year will be approved at this meeting.  The proposed budget meets the needs of the students of SAD #4 while maintaining fiscal responsibility.  A copy of the proposed budget will be delivered to your home in the near future.  Folks that are interested in quality educational opportunities for children are urged to attend the meeting, and exercise their right to vote. There will be an informational session the same evening at 6:00 PM

 

Reminder: All debts need to be paid before students are promoted to the next grade.  This includes all lunch debts that are owed.  Please call the school if you would like to check on your child’s account or you may look at your child’s account on Power School. Textbooks and library books need to be returned as well.

Last Day: Friday, June 16th is the last full day of school. Please send a paper bag to school next week for your child to bring home belongings from their lockers and homerooms.
