Please help your child remember
his/her library and phys ed days, and be sure library
books and PE clothes are packed in the bookbag.

Your child’s assignment book
needs to be signed by a parent or caregiver each night on the last line for
that day. Your child can show you where if you’ve not already begun doing that.
Your signature indicates you have seen what he/she is responsible for and have
helped ensure it is complete. Some work may have been completed and passed in
already that day. If so, your child should have checked the “done” box beside
it.

In language arts classes we will
spend about six weeks reading books and stories related to the theme “It’s
Cool! It’s School!”
v
Math classes are working on
geometry and addition and subtraction facts. Students took home a family letter
explaining the unit and our goals for the unit earlier this week.

Social studies classes are being
introduced to Maine Studies. Please be sure your child has a white binder for
his/her
v
Science classes have begun
learning about food chains.
