v OCTOBER 1 is Picture Day! Forms went home earlier.

v OCTOBER 5 is an Early Release Day followed by a week of vacation.

v Midterms close next Friday. Reports will be mailed after vacation.

v We enjoyed our first Merit Dollar Event today! About once a month students get to spend some of their merit money for a fun activity.

v MATH: We will finish Unit 2 and have an assessment next week. Unit 3 starts working on multiplication facts, get ready! Students will be bringing home fact triangles to cut out and use as flash cards for practice. Store in a baggie or envelope and use frequently.

v READING: Classes will be finishing the It’s Cool, It’s School! Theme next week.

v SCIENCE: Classes are still investigating animals’ relationships in the food chain.

v SOCIAL STUDIES: Students are doing a great job with their Maine Trivia Notebooks. Be sure to remind your child to follow the rubric with each question.
