- In
social studies students have been busy decorating and preparing for the
mock election that will be held on November 2. It would be a great
learning opportunity for your child if you would discuss the candidates
and your opinions on the issues. Help your child learn that every vote
does count!
- Science
classes are beginning to learn about conservation. Students are asked to
find articles on pollution, landfills, recycling, or other environmental
issues and bring them to class.
- Math
classes will be taking the assessment on Unit 3 next week. Keep practicing
facts daily and filling in the log sheet.
- Fourth
grade students are encouraged to wear black and orange on Tuesday.
- We
will hold a merit dollar event on Tuesday.
- There
will be no CLC yoga on Monday afternoon.
- There’s
still time for students to do community service. Parents just need to
write a note or phone the office explaining what was done and for whom.
- Reminder-Return
the pink conference form you received in the mail ASAP to schedule an
appointment to discuss your child’s progress.
- Remember
to set your clocks back Saturday night!
