STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES: Well done, students! Thank you to all of the parents who attended.

VETERANS ASSEMBLY: Our fourth graders performed an incredible rendition of “You’re A Grand Old Flag”!

NOVEMBER 15: Picture Retake Day

NOVEMBER 15: Marvelous Multiplication for Moms (and Dads!) 6-7:30 PM

NOVEMBER 18: This is an early release day followed by a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday.

SCIENCE SPECIAL: Mrs. Weymouth took Danielle, Mark, Garrett, Kelsey, Danica, and Travis to a MEEP (Maine Energy Education Program) conference at the Penquis Higher Education Building in Dover-Foxcroft on Wednesday.  The students explored different types of energy such as wind power, biomass, and natural gas.  They were also involved in an energy debate.

SCIENCE: Classes will begin a unit on the changing earth.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Classes will be starting a Maine Native Americans unit. They will be researching on computers and be presenting a final project.

MATH: We will be working more with decimals and metric measures next week. Students could practice measuring objects at home to the nearest millimeter, centimeter, decimeter, and meter.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS: dictionary, calculator, gift certificate to a book store, ruler, microscope
