All grade 5 students
were treated to a very special guest speaker in health class:
GAME WARDEN, DAN Carroll, shared survival tips on what to do
and not do if lost in the woods. He also showed students how common household
items such as candles, tin foil, string, etc. could prove to be invaluable to
an individual who might be lost. The students thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Carroll's
informative and artistic presentation. They each received a complimentary mini
survival handbook and it was suggested that they include this as part of their
own survival day pack.
