First trimester ends today, Dec. 2nd.

Report cards should be mailed home at the end of next week.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas we encourage the students to bring non-perishable food items to give to the local food cupboard. We think it is important for the students to understand the importance of giving to those in need.

The food cupboard does need:

1) cans of vegetables, soups, tuna, baked beans, stews, spaghetti meals, hash.

2) jars of creamy peanut butter, jellies, jams, pancake syrup, spaghetti sauce

3) boxes of cereal, muffin mixes, puddings, jello, macaroni and cheese, pasta, pancake mix

-----They have plenty of tomato sauce and canned beans(kidney, chili, pinto) at this time.

The heat is going to be turned back to 65 degrees. Please have your child bring an extra sweater or sweatshirt to leave at school in their locker.

Please have your child dress for the weather. They go out for recess every day unless it’s raining or extremely cold. They need to bring hats that cover their ears and mittens to wear. Boots and snow pants are recommended, but not necessary.   However, they will not be able to slide or play in the snow without boots and snow pants.

Winter Concert ---chorus only-Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 7:00 here in the cafeteria.

Schedule for the second trimester has changed slightly. Ph. Ed. and band remain the same.

Please have gym clothes and instruments here on designated days.
