Second Quarter Ends

The end of the second quarter falls on Friday the 18th. Grade reports are scheduled to be mailed on the 25th.

Social Studies Test

Coming to a classroom near you next Wednesday, January 23 - a vocabulary test for Ancient Greek Studies. Students should bring their notes home Tuesday after school and spend some time looking at the people and things of Greece. Parents are not required to know anything about Ancient Greeks.

Snow Shoe Falls

Mr. Savage’s homeroom class will take a snowshoe excursion on Tuesday, January 22. Students will need to dress warmly and wear boots that will take the harness. Sneakers and low shoes will not do. Special concern for head wear should be taken. If it rains (not likely), the event will be canceled.

Conferences

Teachers encourage parents and guardians to maintain contact concerning your child. Whether you have had a conference or not with 6th grade teachers, you are welcomed to call or send a note with your child to make arrangements to meet with us. The school phone is 876-4301. You may leave voice mail if the teacher is not available.
