WELCOME BACK MR. SAVAGE

Mr. Savage is back. We sure missed him, we're glad to have him here!

IT WAS A GREAT BASKETBALL SEASON!

Both PCMS Boys and Girls A Team won their Northern Division Finals, and the Boys A Team are the Penquis League Champions. Gosh those kids are good!

The "B" Teams went down to defeat in the semifinal round after a valiant effort. We are very proud of all of our teams.

SPELLING BEE CHANGE

The school Spelling Bee will be held at PCMS on Wednesday, February 26 in the cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. We have so many activities going on last week that we had to reschedule the Spelling Bee. The students representing Grade Six are: Olivia Schmiedlehner, Travis Ellis, Graham Pearsall, Kyle Curtis, Brittany Cunningham, Connie Glynn, Kristy Ryder, Stacy Prise, Lucy Cayard, and Trent Patterson.

Winners of the Piscataquis Community Middle School will go on to participate in the county Spelling Bee to be held in Dover-Foxcroft at Sedomocha on March 3rd at 7:00 p.m.

TEST ALERT

Mrs. Hobart is again plotting a math unit test for next Tuesday or Wednesday. We are about half way through the third marking period. Now is not a time to sluff off. We need to keep our efforts high right to the end of the year ... which will be here before you know it!

The newsletter will not go out again until March 7.
