Homework – All sixth grade students will be required to research the implications of geology on the culture of the Ancient Romans and create a graph of numerical data to support their findings. This study should be followed up with an eight - page report (single spaced typing) that is due next Wednesday. Gotcha! It’s April 1st.
Maple Sugar in the News - Check the Piscataquis Observer this week for the front-page story about 6th graders on their maple sugar trip.
Students-Led Conferences - Confirmation slips for parent appointments are being sent home today with students. All parents who have requested a conference should have their times set for them. Appointment forms were mailed with trimester reports. If parents did not receive the form please call Mrs. Jones at the school office, 876-4301. If the conference dates do not fit family schedules, please contact teachers. We will do what is needed to accommodate this most important meeting.
HERO Assembly- The sixth grade HERO Assembly is scheduled for Monday, April 4. Students receive awards and recognition for academic achievement, improvement, and community service. Parents and relatives are always invited. Your presence is a plus and lends importance to the student’s work.
