MARCH OF DIMES WALK-A-THON
Thank you to all who supported the March of Dimes Walk-a-thon. The Middle School raised over $700. for our efforts, and the overall total for the walk exceeded $7,000!
WE'RE CHECKING OUT THE TOWN LIBRARY
The new addition to the Guilford Memorial Library is complete, and we have an invitation to visit. The sixth grade will be walking over to the library one section at a time, (6-1, 6-2, and 6-3) next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, (unless it rains, in which case we will take a bus). We plan to take an aide with us, and Mr. Bellemere will join us for one of the visits. We encourage the students to utilize any library as a tool for learning.
CANADIAN STUDIES HAS BEGUN
On Tuesday of this week, Mr. Savage began his unit on Canadian studies. This promises to be a very interesting unit for all, ending with our bus trip to Quebec City on June 6.
HONOR ROLL IS OUT
Check out the Honor Roll on the back of the newsletter. Our kids did very well this quarter. We aim to have more names on it next quarter!
K-6 VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM
There will be an Arts program at P.C.M.S. on May 8, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at about 8:00 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to come see what exciting things the children have been doing in art, music, and movement classes ... and it's FREE!
