HOLIDAY COMING UP

Today is our last early release day. Monday is Memorial Day observance. While it is always important to remember our veterans, it is especially appropriate to take time out this Memorial Day to give thanks for the service given. We hope you are able to spend time together with your family and friends.

GET YOUR MONEY IN FOR EXCHANGE

Homeroom teachers are collecting money from students to be taken to Key Bank for exchange into Canadian cash. The students need money for supper at McDonald's or Burger King, (to alleviate the crowding, one bus goes to one, and the other bus goes to the second). It cost about $10.00 Canadian to buy dinner. Any other funds you send in might go to purchase ice cream cones, or trinkets. We encourage students not to bring a large amount of money, $20.00 is all they would possibly need. Our collecting the money in an envelope with the student's name on it helps the bank. We take our U.S. funds over one day, and the bank exchanges each envelope with the current exchange rate, and we pick it up the next day. Envelopes are distributed to the students the morning of the trip. We are collecting funds until May 30, but would rather you didn't leave it until the last minute if at all possible.

TEST ALERT

Mr. Savage is planning a reading test next week. Stay on top of your assignments. We are closing in on the final days of school, it is important to keep our efforts up right to the end.
