Sixth Grade Ready for Canada Trip
Trip Details-- Check This Out

Students will need to bring a sack lunch with them for the trip. Teachers will hand out snacks on the bus so students will not have to “raid” their lunches. We will eat in the park at Quebec City as soon as we arrive. Evening meals will be eaten at either McDonalds or Burger King in St. George, PQ. Common sense is required with respect to clothing. Comfortable walking shoes are best. We will be walking for 4 to 5 hours. Several light layers of clothing are recommended. If it is too warm, outer garments may be left on the bus. Teachers will monitor the weather before we go and make recommendations. Exact departure time from P.C.M.S. is 7:00 AM. Students should arrive no earlier than 6:30 AM and no later than 6:45. The planned return time is between 9:30 and 10:00 PM.

Chaperone Meeting

This is a reminder of the special meeting for chaperones going to Quebec City. Meet in Mr. Savage’s room, 253, on the second floor. The date and time is May 28, Tuesday, at 6:30 PM. Be sure to bring any questions or concerns with you. We are well prepared and experienced, but there may be something we haven’t covered especially for you.

Pocket Money in Quebec

The deadline for bringing in money to exchange for Canadian funds is Wednesday, May 29. In the past teachers have exchanged money for students. Students may bring their envelopes at any time now.

Returning Birth Certificates

Parents should meet teachers upon the return of the buses from Quebec on June 7 at about 9:30 pm to pick up birth certificates. We would like to return them to you as soon as possible. If they cannot be picked up, let us know, and we will mail them to you.
