GRADE SIX NEWS

May 27, 2005                                    P.C.M.S

Memorial Day – Monday, May 30, is a school holiday. Enjoy the three-day weekend, and remember those who have gone before us.

THE TRIP – We are all set to go. Students have selected their traveling partners, the currency exchange is underway, and last minute details are being cared for. Even the weather forecast is looking promising. Check the back of this newsletter for the trip schedule. It has been sent home several times, but we want to be sure every one is prepared. Please be reminded the return time is only an estimate, but we are usually close.

Great Mathematicians – Some sixth grade students have proven to be great math masters as they earned a perfect score on the unit 7 test. When in need of accurate calculation you may contact one of the following: M Martell, L Carr, F Harmon, K Roberts, or S McEwen. Congratulations!

HEROS – The latest HEROS for grade six were recognized during the lunch period today. Matt Cole and Shaneil Thibodeau were selected by teachers as meeting the strict criteria for a P.C.M.S. HERO. Good job, students.

TV Meteorologists – Next week Mrs. Titcomb’s science classes will give their weather “forecasts” on the school’s closed circuit TV, channel 3.
