Grade Six Newsletter

SCHOOL PICTURES –Pictures are to be taken October 1, 2007, Monday. Parents making orders for pictures are reminded to send their envelopes Monday. Students should hold them for the photographer.

COMPUTERS – Sixth grade students received their laptop computers this week. Writing, research, and science investigation will go into full swing now as students use this tool for study.

EARLY RELEASE – Next Friday, October 5, is an early release day for students. Please expect them home at noontime.

SCIENCE TEST – Mrs. Titcomb is offering up one of her great science tests next week. Students should be ready for the Chapter 1 test on populations and communities.

BREAK - The October break begins on the 8^th. Please make plans for students being home that week.

PARENT TIP – Students have been taking extra hydration at school this week due to the heat. They may forget at home and need reminding. But then we could have frost and snow by the middle of next week. Go figure!
