PARENT / TEACHER CONFERENCES

Last Friday, we sent home notices for parent / teacher conferences. We have already received a large number of appointment requests back. In an effort to see everyone who has requested a meeting, we have added another night. November 19th will also be available for parent /teacher meetings. It is gratifying to have so many parents concerned with their child's progress.

MOCK ELECTIONS

We held Mock Elections here at PCMS on Tuesday. Our results were: Senator: Susan Collins, Governor: John Baldacci, House Representative: Kevin Raye. The kiddos did a great job with the whole election process. Now we will see if we are indeed a mirror of the State!

KICKING OFF THE TREE UNIT

Mrs. Titcomb is kicking off her tree unit with a visit from Gordon Moore, Maine State Forester. He will be speaking to the children on Monday, November 4th at 9:45. We are looking forward to his visit.

VETERAN'S DAY

School will NOT be in session on Monday, November 11 in recognition of Veterans Day. With our country involved in the War on Terrorism, it is especially fitting that we recognize and give honor to our veterans.
