A MESSAGE FROM MR. BELLEMARE

The Guilford Area Kiwanis is doing their annual Holiday Giving Campaign.  If people need assistance around the December holidays such as clothing, necessities or l play item they can call:  Carrie 876-3312 or 876-3407.  If they would like to donate a toy or money call Carrie or drop off things at Guilford Key Bank, Guilford Rite Aid or the Guilford Library.  If they could call before November 5th it would be appreciated.

MAINE ENERGY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Six students from grade six traveled to Dover on a bus with Mrs. Titcomb to the Penquis Higher Learning Center to attend the Maine Energy Education conference.   They were S Hunt, T Ellis, C Clukey, J Folsom, K Carlson, and L Gray.  These students spent an exciting day in hands-on energy workshops. They will be sharing their experience in science class with fellow students.

PARENT FUND RAISER MEETING

The parent group is scheduled to meet in Mr. Savage’s room on Tuesday, November 15 at 6:30.  If you can come to give us a hand, we’d love to see you.

SCIENCE NOTES

Mrs. Titcomb says they will be starting tree posters next week. Fun!

VETERAN’S DAY OBSERVANCE

We had an awesome assembly today in which we recognized area veterans with words, songs, and poems.  It was a time for our students to acknowledge the sacrifices of service given by men and women for the cause of freedom.    The kids rose beautifully to the occasion.  We were all very proud of them.
