TURKEY, TURKEY, TURKEY

Your marvelous children have raised $150 in loose change to donate to the Methodist Church Food Cupboard.  All funds to the food cupboard come from donations.  Mrs. Gaw came in this morning to accept the money, and we were able to get a wonderful picture of her with the whole class.  Thanks to all who contributed.

PARENT FUND RAISER MEETING

The parent group is scheduled to meet in Mr. Savage’s room on Tuesday, November 29 at 6:30.  Bad weather canceled the last meeting.   If you can come to give us a hand, we’d love to see you.

SCIENCE NOTES

Mrs. Titcomb has started the tree unit with our kids.  The tree posters are coming along nicely.  The unit will wrap up after vacation, and her next unit is on energy.

BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE !

The thermometer is dipping down low these days.  In an attempt to save fuel, our room temperature will be set at 68 degrees.  Please have your child wear or bring a sweater or sweatshirt with them to school.    Likewise, we need children to dress appropriately for the cold weather outside.  It is time for heavier coats, hats, mittens, and soon boots will be added.  We go out every day that it is not raining.  Maine can be a great place to have fun in the winter IF you are dressed for the cold.

WE HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING BREAK.  ENJOY THE HOLIDAY AND COME BACK RESTED AND READY TO GO.   OUR NEXT TRIMESTER STARTS DEC. 5 !
