GRADE SIX NEWS

December 8, 2006

Did you see that!  Our holiday concert was incredible.  The singers were outstanding, our bands were top notch, and our audience was the best!  A good time was had by all.

Grades closed last Friday, teachers have been busy putting their grades and comments on the report cards this week.  We are hoping to have them out the first of next week.  Keep a close watch on your mail box for the good news.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are going to be at Valley Grange in Guildford Center, (at the end of Butter St.) on Saturday, Dec. 9th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.  You can also get a free breakfast there but donations are gladly accepted.  So tell all believers to come and bring their list to Santa.  It is better for Santa if he has it in writing.

Two new programs are being offered by CLC.  They are Intermediate Quilting and Beginner Cooking.  Your child has as the information to sign up in their mailbox.

The basketball games have begun!  If you get a chance to come see our kids play, don’t miss out.  They get better and better with every game.  They love to look out in the bleachers and see a familiar face!

Speaking of games, we do not provide child care for children after school.  The coaches are to have a room for their athletes, but we don’t have staff free to watch children who are waiting for games to begin, and we don’t want any child unsupervised in the building.  It is a real safety issue.  Please see to it that your child is safe.

Candle orders are in.  If you were unable to come in to get yours today, please call us to pick them up.  The candles are in Mr. Savage’s room.  Thank you to all who helped.
