HEALTH NEWS FROM MRS. ALLEN:

Grade 6 Health Class - Health Class - Students continue to journal the progress they are making in the health goal they have set for the year. The purpose of this on-going assignment is to turn their bad health habits into good ones by establishing reasonable goals. Our new unit of study is the muscular system. Students have created flash cards of ten major muscles assigned in class. They are to know all ten for the next class.

GIVING TREE IS UP:

The annual giving tree is up in front of the library.  It would be awfully nice if your child could bring in just one nonperishable item to put under the tree.

CANDLE SALES:

The order is coming in Monday, we need a couple of volunteers to contact Debbie Cross if you can help her break down the order on Tuesday, Dec.  21 at 3:00.  The orders should be up by 4:00, so anyone available to pick up orders can come at that time.  The Grade Six cut from the candle sales is about $600!  Thank you so much for all who helped, are helping, and people who ordered!  We really appreciate your efforts.

AWESOME CONCERT:

We had an awesome Holiday concert here on Wednesday night.  Our children were beautiful, their voices were inspiring, our conductors are very talented and giving people.  On the whole, AWESOME  is the word.
