VeteranŐs Day Assembly: Friday,
November 9 at PCHS, 12:15 PM. All veterans are welcome. Please contact the school at 876-4301
to reserve a seat.
Dance permission slips have
been distributed. Students must
have a permission slip signed and returned in order to attend a middle school
dance.
Sports Physicals for 7th
grade will be held on 10/25 and 10/26 by Susan Chessa, FNP from the Guilford
Medical Office.
WhatŐs Going on Upstairs?
Mrs. RichŐs LA: 7th
grade: We are learning the basic jobs of a literature circle discussion of
fiction novels.
Grade 8 Classes are reading historical essays to summarize and make personal connections. Analysis of non-fiction text is the focus of our next unit.
Mr. WebbŐs social studies classes are focusing on local elections and preparing presentations for the VeteranŐs Day Assembly
Mrs. MoultonŐs 7th grade math classes are classifying and constructing triangles and quadrilaterals.
Ms. DallŐs 8th grade math classes are studying the Pythagorean Theorem and classifying quadrilaterals.
8th grade writing groups are studying parts of speech, subjects and predicates, and are writing a narrative paragraph.
Mr. DraperŐs 7 & 8th grade science: 7th grade is studying the human skeleton
8th grade is balancing equations.
