7th Grade Newsletter
Week of November 12 - 15, 2002

* Student-led Conferences were a huge success this week. We appreciate the high family turn-out and the efforts of our students to make this work so well.

Student-led conference times are still available on Friday, November 22, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM. Please call and set up an appointment if you have not yet been scheduled.

If you would like to meet with your child’s teachers, please call or e-mail us to set up an appointment.

* Friday, November 22 is an early release day. Students are dismissed 11:30.

* Students fill out assignment books each day. Please ask to see them on a regular basis. If you have questions or concerns about assignments, please call: 876-4301 or e-mail us:

The 7th grade is sponsoring a “Coats for Kids” campaign in conjuction with WLBZ TV. Please send in any outgrown, usable coats for needy kids. They will be cleaned and distributed before the holidays. Specials thanks to Ryan Graffam, Nina Rohdin, Tobey Cleaves, Ashley Butler, and Miss Sweetser for coordinating the project.

* Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Soccer teams.

The boys’ team received the First place for the Regional Sportsmanship Award.
The girls’ team received second place for the Regional Sportsmanship Award.
