The 2^nd trimester begins Monday, Dec. 5. Students’ “specials” will be changing. All academic classes remain the same.

Ms. Shuster’s Wednesday after-school help group will be meeting from 3:00-4:30.

As the holiday season approaches, we have several community service activities going on to support local charities.

Coats for Kids: the 7^th grade sponsors the Annual Coats for Kids campaign. We collect outgrown coats and snow pants for families in need. The coats need to be in good condition – they will be cleaned by Gold Star Cleaners in Bangor and distributed as needed.

We will be accepting coats right up until 12/21/2006.

Holiday Giving Tree: the 4^th and 5^th grade is sponsoring the annual food drive giving tree project. Non-perishable foods are being collected to donate to the local food cupboard at the Guilford Methodist Church.

Teddy Bear Drive: Student Council is sponsoring a teddy bear drive. Gently used teddy bears and other stuffed animals will be given to children receiving services at Thayer Hospital’s emergency room in Waterville.
