It seems as though the days are absolutely flying by at breakneck speed! We wanted you all to get an updated list of events taking place in the next three weeks.

June 1: Language arts research projects are due and oral presentations begin.

June 7, 8, & 9: Students who have shown an interest in vocational education will be visiting the vocational center in Dexter.

June 7 or 8: Spring Concert - the last middle school concert for our eighth graders.

June 8: School wide barbecue

June 9: End of Year Eighth Grade Dance

June 12 (rain date June 13): field day/ barbecue at the Guilford town fields. We need a few parent volunteers to help cook and serve. Please call 876-4301 ext.40, 42 or 43 to offer your services.

June 13:
The SAD #4 district budget meeting will be held at Piscataquis Community Middle School at 7:00 PM. A school budget for the 2006-2007 school year will be approved at this meeting. The proposed budget meets the needs of the students of SAD #4 while maintaining fiscal responsibility. A copy of the proposed budget will be delivered to your home in the near future. Folks that are interested in quality educational opportunities for children are urged to attend the meeting, and exercise their right to vote. There will be an informational session the same evening at 6:00 PM.

June 14 (rain date June 15): Peaks Kenny - A day at the beach!

June 16: Hero Assembly, period 3 and the last day of school (full day)
