Before students receive their Internet Scavenger Hunt or their license, they receive numerous hours of internet instruction. The instruction includes:
When the above training is complete, students are given an Internet Scavenger Hunt. They are allowed 40 minutes to complete the 6 question hunt; and if they are able to answer all questions and record the correct URLs to relocate the answers they have written, they are awarded an Internet Drivers License.
If students are not able to complete the above mentioned process in 40 minutes,
they receive more training and will retake a scavenger hunt (different from
the first) when the training is completed. When they finally are able to successfully
complete a Scavenger Hunt in the allotted time, they receive their license.

After students receive their licenses, they must have them with them any time
they plan to use the Internet. If they need to use the Internet during a class,
unless the Internet is being used as a whole class assignment, students must
ask the teacher in charge if they may use the Internet, show them they have
their license, state the educational reason for its use, and work on the Internet
for only that specific purpose.
If a teacher discovers any misuse they immediately remove the students
computer and license and notify either Crystal Priest, SAD #4 Technology Coordinator
or myself for further action.
