Okay, people have been asking what the rules are for students to use laptops at PCMS.
We really don't have them written down, but basically it boils down to common sense.
1. Follow normal school rules - no running, fighting, pushing, shoving, etc.
2. Don't stack your iBook on top of, or under books. It is too easy for the stack to slide.
3. Don't stick stuff in holes - the same rules that apply to your ears also apply to your iBook.
4. Don't touch anybody else's computer unless they invite you to.
5. Ask permission before printing.
6. No food, drink or drool around the iBook.
7. Don't carry the iBook unless it is closed.
8. Back up important stuff to the server.
9. Plug your computer in during lunch and at night to make sure it is charged up.
10. Don't open up the computer in class until your teacher OK's it.
