SPECIAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES

Members Present: Laura Auger, Deborah Clukey, Brad Coburn, Larry Davis, Patricia Davis, Ralph Eastman, Pam Goulette, Patricia Izbicki, Anita Kain, Lorna Marshall, and Phyllis Watson.

Members Absent: Karol Curtis, Melissa Douglass, Cynthia Fortier, Susan McAvoy, George Nuite, Geraldine Rizzitello and James Wachter.

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Larry Davis at 6:30 P.M.

1. Adjustments to Agenda:

A motion was made by Pam Goulette and seconded by Phyllis Watson to make the following adjustments:

*Under agenda item #4, June Ladd - Student Council (PCHS), Holly Witick (Senior Play-PCHS) and Ronald Martell (PCMS Soccer) were added to the extra-curricular staff to employ.

*Add Item #5 - Resignation: Elizabeth Killilea (Elementary Music).

Vote: Yes ~ 11 No ~ 0 Ab. ~ 0

2. Executive Session:

A motion was made by Patricia Davis and seconded by Pam Goulette that the Board of Directors enters executive session to discuss a personnel issue.

Vote: Yes ~ 11 No ~ 0 Ab. ~ 0

3. Nomination:

A motion was made by Patricia Davis and seconded by Ralph Eastman that the Board of Directors nominates Jeanne Griffin for the Social Studies Teacher at PCHS.

Vote: Yes ~ 9 No ~ 2 Ab. ~ 0

4. Recommendation to Employ:

A motion was made by Pam Goulette and seconded by Brad Coburn to recommend that the Board of Directors employ the following extra-curricular staff for one year positions:

* Wendy Lindberg - McKusick Head Teacher
* Peter Nelson - Varsity Soccer - PCHS
* Thomas Gilbert III - JV Soccer - PCHS
* Trisha Moulton - Varsity Field Hockey - PCHS
* Jamie Gilbert - JV Field Hockey - PCHS
* Jill Taylor - Cross Country - PCHS
* Joseph Gallant - A/D for PCMS
* Joseph Gallant - Fall Intramurals - PCMS
* Joseph Gallant - Track - PCMS
* Jill Taylor - B Girl's Basketball - PCMS
* Brenda Tetlow - A Field Hockey - PCMS
* Coralyn Knight - B Field Hockey - PCMS
* Tom Cyr - A Soccer - PCMS
* Fred Andrews - Affirmative Action Coordinator
* Fred Andrews - Student Council - PCMS
* Ann Dall - Co-Chair Intact Committee

A motion was made by Pam Goulette and seconded by Phyllis Watson that the Board of Directors accepts the resignation of Elizabeth Killilea (Elementary Music Teacher).

6. Adjournment:

Motion made by Pam Goulette and seconded by Phyllis Watson to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 P.M.
