BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES
Directors Present:
William Hume- Chairman, George Nuite, Geraldine Rizzitello, Larry Davis, Lorna
Marshall, Patricia Izbicki, Susan McAvoy, Patti Davis, Cynthia Fortier, Phyllis
Watson, Brad Coburn, Melissa Douglass, and Debbie Clukey.
Members Absent:
Conrad Rollins, Bruce Jones, James Wachter, Anita Kain, Pam Goulette
Also Present:
Sara Alberts, Greg Bellemare, Bruce Lindberg, and Matthew Oliver.
Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order by William Hume, Chairman, at 6:35 P.M.
1. Adjustments to Agenda
None
2. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by George Nuite that the warrant and notice of election for the Town of Cambridge presented to the meeting be and is hereby approved and that a District meeting referendum be and is hereby called for November 6, 2001 for the purpose of approving the closing of the Cambridge Elementary School by the District as described therein.
Vote: Yes-10 No-1 Ab-0
3. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Melissa Douglass that the notice of public hearing for the Town of Cambridge be and is hereby approved for the purpose of notifying the voters of the public hearing scheduled for October 17, 2001 on the closing of the Cambridge Elementary School as provided therein.
Vote: Yes-10 No-1 Ab-0
4. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Melissa Douglass that the warrant and notice of election for the Town of Sangerville presented to the meeting be and is hereby approved and that a District meeting referendum be and is hereby called for November 6, 2001 for the purpose of approving the closing of the Abbie Fowler Elementary School by the District as described therein.

5. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Larry Davis that the notice of public hearing for the Town of Sangerville be and is hereby approved for the purpose of notifying the voters of the public hearing scheduled for October 18, 2001 on the closing of the Abbie Fowler Elementary School as provided therein.
Vote: Yes-8 No-3 Ab-0
6. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Patricia Izbicki that the warrant and notice of election for the Town of Wellington presented to the meeting be and is hereby approved and that a District meeting referendum be and is hereby called for November 6, 2001 for the purpose of approving the closing of the Wellington Elementary School by the District as described therein.
Vote: Yes-10 No-1 Ab-0
7. A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Patricia Izbicki that the notice of public hearing for the Town of Wellington be and is hereby approved for the purpose of notifying the voters of the public hearing scheduled for October 16, 2001 on the closing of the Wellington Elementary School as provided therein.
Vote: Yes-10 No-1 Ab-0
8. Adjournment
A motion was made by Geraldine Rizzitello and seconded by Patricia Izbicki to adjourn at 6:45 p.m.
