Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR-UP) currently serves students in MSAD #4 in grades 9– 12.
The mission of GEAR-UP is to encourage students to challenge themselves academically and to eventually pursue post-secondary education. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible for a GEAR-UP college scholarship.
MSAD #4 has hosted GEAR-UP since 1999. The grant has just been renewed for another six-year cycle.
