elcome to the Kingdom of Biddle. Greeting ,I am Princess Marigold. I am
a tall, beautiful, brown hair girl who lives with my father. My mother
died when I was very young.I have spent all my life alone in the castle. Although there are other kids here, they don’t play with me. My father King Humphrey III , has been going on quests and leaving me behind. I beg him not to go, but he does any- way.
My father has come back with many things from his quests. One time he brought a cat home which I named Apricot. He was happy to get away from the fleas he had been living with. I now talk to him about how I am so lonely and miserable.
My father has started a contest to see who will marry me. The successful person must climb a glass pyramid on horse back and get three golden apples from me. I thought that my father was kidding but he wasn't’t. He had a glass pyramid built and then put me on top of the pyramid.
A few days prior to the contest, I had talk to a young farm boy and I really liked him. We were talking about sticky powder and why he doesn't want to be king.
Little did he know, I was the princess because I was disguised as a dairymaid.
Many horsemen tried to climb the pyramid but only one was successful. At first I was upset but when I discovered that he was the farm boy I was happy and my life of loneliness was over.
