Well, it’s Catherine again! But I’m going to tell you things about the jobs around here where I live. Many women like when I grow up they will be a baker, cooker, clerks, barber, glaziers, weavers, sewers, knitters, and also shoemakers. Alot of women work really hard around here but the major jobs for us girls is cooking, house work, and also sewing and knitting. You don’t rarely ever see a women just sitting around well actually you NEVER do. Women around here are hard working and need to be around.
Now on the other side, men, they have alot of jobs to but there jobs are mostly outside and having to do with weapons and tools. Many men are employed by being craftsman, carpenters, shoemakers, barbers, woodmakers, carters, reeves, and also falconers. But around here one of the top major jobs is being a carpenter. Usually every day a new house or castle is built around here. People here are really never doing nothing. You are always working, eating, cleaing, or sleeping. There isn’t much fun around here it’s always work. It really doesnt bother me because I’am used to having to work everyday but when young women and young men get brought up in the world to work all of there life it isn’t that fun to look forward too.
Many young people do not work. But trust me they DO have chores to do around the house and outside of the house. Many little kids have chores such as in the winter bringing in wood and also doing dishes. When I was a young child I had plenty to do like dishes and helping Morwenna. But now I really miss being a child because there wasn’t so much to do. If I get lucky I sometimes have a tiny break to go hangout with Perkin. The one thing you have to remember is that just when you are little doesn’t mean you get away with not doing anything!
Many tools around here are axes to cut wood, spoons, forks, knifes, are used in the kitchen and also mixers and such for the kitchen also. Other tools are these such as hammers, Sludgehamers, wrenches, and saws usually. That’s about all of the tools around my neighborhood.
For weapons we have plenty of things. Our main weapons are of corse guns but we also have swords and arrows that go with our bows. There is usually a small gun that is put above the door way for the women while they are at home for robbers and such. But that is usually just a rifle. Men that fight in our battles against other people use guns and bow n’ arrows. That is mostly all of our weapons, jobs, and tools around here.
