reetings, My name is Catherine. I am daughter of Sir Rollo, a knight. Although he is my father, I am not extremely crazy about him. He is always trying to give my hand to some ferocious, pig headed freak, who I really don't want to marry. It is so incredibly annoying. I have long brown hair and you can tell I am a nobleman's daughter because it always smells clean. I wear long dresses with style and I wish I didn't.
I live in the castle with my father, Rollo, my mother, Lady Aislynn, and my three brothers, Edward, Thomas, and the abominable Robert.
I want so bad to run free in the fields and play games, but I’m stuck here wearing dumb old Kirtles and long ankle length dresses. Why can I not wear britches?!
I am constantly doing something, I am either writing in this journal for my brother Edward. He is off training to be a knight. Or I am in the Solar with my Mother and her friends. They are both so annoying but of course I would rather write in the journal for Edward.
Almost everyday is a feast in our castle. We all eat lots of food like pig, bread, cakes, rolls, wine, and lots of other food. All the male adults are constantly drinking ale and begging me to cure them. Yeah right. Ok, I do. Every time they drink, I have to make them herbs to heal their ale heads. Urggh so annoying. That's my life. Don't you forget it either.
