Dear Selectmen:

We have received our allocation for funding for SAD #4 next year. The estimated funding reflects the following:

1. The district will receive $15,000 less in general operating revenues than in the current year.
2. The state allocation will be $180,000 less than the current year.
3. The local taxpayers will be assessed an additional + $165,000 for next year.

This funding reflects only 50% of our loss in student enrollment to mitigate the financial impact on the district. This resulted in the loss of $150,000 not being included in next year's loss of funding, however, this will be reflected in the loss of funding in the 2001-02 school year.
