Pirate Recreation Committee

The newly formed Pirate Recreation Committee is pleased to announce the registration for spring baseball and softball leagues. The Pirate Recreation Committee is a group of individuals dedicated to providing a unified program to all kids in Guilford, Sangerville, Parkman, Abbot, Cambridge, and Wellington. Through cooperation, organization and pooling of its resources the committee is able to provide a more comprehensive program and better communication.

Girls Softball registration for grades 3-6 will be April 10^th 6:00 at Piscataquis Community Middle School in Guilford. Boys Baseball registration for ages 7-13 will be April 12^th 6:00 at Piscataquis Community Middle School in Guilford. There will be a registration fee to cover the cost of uniforms and scholarships will also be available. T-ball registration for boys and girls ages 5–7 will be later in April and a flyer will come home from school with K-3^rd grade students.

We are looking for volunteers to coach these teams as well as umpire games. If you are interested in volunteering or joining this committee please contact Peter Martell at 876-4005 or Jimmy Bell at 876-4025.

Registration for the summer recreation program, under the direction of Joe Gallant, which includes swimming, field trips, arts & crafts and field games will be in April. Look for information to come home from school with students in a flyer or newsletter.
